Don Valley Sheffield. Bonsai traders association.

Today Mike R and myself traveled down to Don Valley stadium in Sheffield for the BTA show, which was the last time at this venue as the council has decided to pull the place down and build something else in place.

We were both very pleased we went as there were bargains to be had all over the place, most of the traders were offering show prices which were very good.

There was no competition display this year for single trees but there were some trees for display only, my Dawn Redwood one of them.
I was well happy with some of the comments I received about it.

Below a very nice Chinese Juniper which belongs to Peter Thorn from the Ayr group.

Even more trees from the show.

White Pine

Chinese Juniper

Some Shohin from the BSA.

A really nice Shohin Juniper belonging to John Armatidge.

Over all an excellent day out, well done to John Farrow and all his helpers for the work that they must have put in to make it so good.
