I have been playing about with photos today, just to see if black and white are as good as colour.

These are not my trees, but without colour you can really see the deadwood.
Chinese Juniper's.
I love black and white photographs, but not so much of bonsai. Those two trees are excellent examples - I miss the vivid green showing how well the tree is doing, and the brown of the bark. Deadwood shows very well though.
