Almost ready.

I have been getting things ready for the workshop here tomorrow with Robert and I am almost there, just the food to do.

Bonsai Thursday.

Another Thursday and another Bonsai day.

The trees are fast moving into Autumn.

On Tuesday I had a visit from John R, who brought this Boulevard Cypress for some advice, after a quick lesson he is going to fully wire and bring it back for a restyle.

Boxie brought back his bark cleaning spray and as Ken had left his Juniper for a workshop with Robert Porch on Saturday, we gave it a good clean and also removed some wire Ken had missed.

The spray is like a miniature high pressure washer and works very well to remove algae from the tree without any damage to the foliage or bark.

A beautiful sunset to end the day.

The next step is workshop day with Robert.

Natter night 17th Oct 2016.

The night started a little early when Boxie brought one of his Juniper's to get some photos of it on the photo bench.

Looking very good after the recent workshop with Bjorn Bjorholm.

I started on another of my Boulevard Cypress.

After a bit of thinning out.

No Ken I do not think that planting angle is right, Oh you are just removing wire.

Also getting wire removed, a nice Yew.

Another of Ken's trees, a Scots Pine had a slight prune and tweak.

This Juniper also had the wire removed, this time by Boxie, as it is his tree.

Getting dark early now.

Also starting to get cold.

More additions.

I almost forgot another two additions, these two Netsuke that I purchased at Barnsley.

As I have very little hair and I am a bit horse , very appropriate.

Going potty again.

As I posted yesterday about our trip to Barnsley and helping Ian Baillie to unload his wares, I then helped myself to four of his pots. I did pay for them.

Really good quality as usual Ian.

I also got this one off the Walsal studio Ceramics stand.

I have had to move rearrange the pot shelves again.

We had a great weekend away at the Elscar center near Barnsley with really good company.
