Potted on.

Potted on rather than a repot, this Itoigawa Juniper has been placed in a new pot by Ian Baillie pots.

Natter night 15th May 2017.

The rain abated for a while tonight allowing us to spread out into the garden.

The night started with Boxie when he brought this very nice Juniper to be photographed in it's new Stone Monkey pot.

Another of Boxie's, this time a Satsuki Azalea in full flower.

Ken brought his Yew to pass on to Susan as he thinks it will thrive better out of the strong winds that he get up at his home.

A very nice tree.

Another of Ken's, this Cascade Hawthorn.

After a little clip and even less wire it is looking a bit tidier. It is also producing flower's for the first time.

Susan brought this Common Juniper for some advice about pruning.

Finally John's Juniper which is in the process of some severe bending, it seems to be working well.

Quite a busy night with good company.

Monday rain.

It has been very dry for the last few weeks, but not this morning, we are having quite a lot of rain at the moment. At least I will not have to water the trees today and being wet the colours are really a vivid green.

Maybe not forty shades but quite a few.

New tree.

My new tree courtesy of Mr Porch, a wire sculpture.

No water, no feed, no pruning.

Pots by Ian Baillie.

While at the SBA show yesterday I was tempted again by these two pots made by Ian Baillie.

The round one is thirteen inches across and the rectangle is fourteen by ten inches.

Both pots are fantastic quality as is usual for Ian's pots.

I have in mind putting my Dawn Redwood in the rectangle, but the round one I will just look at and admire for now.

SBA Stirling Scotland 2017.

We had a good day out in Bonnie Scotland today at the SBA show in Stirling. It was good to see old friends and make some new ones.

Some photos of the show stands.

Of course you can't have a show without traders.

Wattston Bonsai.

Rising Sun Bonsai.

Ian Bailie Pots.

Ian twisted my arm and sold me two more of his fantastic pots.

Thursday with Dave.

An unusual day as the weather was so good we did not do anything Bonsai, we sat and talked and drank coffee in the sun shine.

I have however been quite busy this week giving the benches a revamp and painting.

I took this opportunity to move some of the trees around to create a different view.

The garden is looking quite tidy now.
