Larch update.

A little more work done on the Jin and Shari.

Bonsai Thursday.

When Dave arrived today I was already in the studio working on the Larch I started yesterday.

This is how it was left yesterday.

Dave and I discussed which branches needed to be removed.

After some branches were removed and others turned into Jin.

I then started to add more wire.

It still needs a lot more work, but is looking much better now.

A basic styling, but a nice image.

Bonsai Wednesday.

Now that the festivities are behind us we can get back to normal.

I think Tony and John must be still under the influence of Xmas as they did not come over tonight.

So as I was in the studio I decided to make a start on this rather large Larch.

It needs an awful lot of wire, but I am not in a hurry.

I only got one part done.

But a good start and already showing signs of becoming a nice image.

On this morning of the first day of 2019 it looks like the start of a very nice day.

Just remember, a Bonsai is not just for xmas, it must be looked after all year long.

A little on the cold side this morning.

As you can see the trees are still out on the benches, enjoying the sunshine.

Today we just did a little more cleaning on the deadwood on this Juniper and had plenty of coffee.
