Carry on weeding.

This morning it was carry on where I left off yesterday, weeding and cleaning.

Thats the weeding done, until they grow again.

Weeding today.

The trees are growing well at the moment, so are the weeds and as we get a lot of rain in this area they act like moss and make the pots retain a lot of water. Which is not good for them.

My Hemlock looking tidy with nice fresh foliage.

Hawthorn, weed free now.

Squamata juniper also weed free.

As is this Itoigawa juniper.

Anyone want any weeds, free to a good home.

This is how it starts, then before you know it the pot is full of them.

If I get time tomorrow I will probably do a few more.

Wirral Bonsai Society show.

Today Boxie and I attended the Wirral Bonsai Society show at Port Sunlight garden center and what a  great display it was.

Closing down.

Just heard the first rumblings of thunder, so the storms that were forecast are almost here.

Bonsai Thursday.

Dave and I had a good natter about what I had been doing with the trees this week and a couple of coffee's.

The main thing is this Itoigawa Juniper, which has had a small bit of tweaking to refine the pads a little.

Then this afternoon I installed this bar in the garden.

HA HA.

Bonsai Wednesday.

I thought tonight was going to be quiet until John came with this Hawthorn.

It is growing well and very healthy, but a little out of shape.

After a couple of guy wires and a bit of pruning  it looks a lot better.

Another enjoyable evening and a job well done.
