I have today been working on this Common Juniper.
When I purchased this tree last year I discovered quite a bit of rot in the lower trunk. This has been sorted, but caused a problem with the growth of foliage, I am pleased to say the foliage is now doing well.
The work done was simply to remove any thing that was dead to allow light to get inside to aid back budding.
